About Jade
This is not a list of formal qualifications, it’s a story of path that is still unfolding. The journey of Jade Wolf.
My qualifications stem from experience and knowledge gained over the past 20 years. Since the age of about 15 I became interested in witchcraft, paganism and nature themed religions. I joined a group of people that I thought had similar interests to myself and learnt the hard way that some people are just in for the money and self glorification. Needless to say I was not with them long.
This lead to me researching for myself the craft of Wicca and Paganism, I began working as a solitary witch performing all sabbats and esbats over the years. Exploring the intricate spirituality of nature and all its wonders, rituals, spells and soon it became a part of my everyday life.
In my late 20’s I came across people that had similar interests to myself. They had just become interested and were looking to further their knowledge. It was then that I started to pass on the knowledge that I have learnt over almost 5 years of solitary work. I do not proclaim to have “taught” anyone as I believe that I have just as much to learn from other people as they have from myself, and I believe it very naive of a person to think they have learnt everything they can on a subject.
As I have progressed up the “pagan” path I have performed the as the role of High Priestess in various Pagan rites. I write rituals for my small group to perform as I find this just as rewarding. I also write rituals for other magical circle workers that I am not part of. I do write spells for people, but these are not everyday occurrences and there has to be good reason. So basically I have tried to be a good source of information and knowledge for people who want to learn the craft. I do not do this for power or hierarchy but because I like to help people and after reading so much rubbish growing up, I would hate for people to have to waste the time themselves.
Unfortunately my research and quite widespread work has also highlighted the fact that there are some people in this world that will take advantage of people who wish to learn a craft that is as old as it is wise. There are courses and groups of people that rob the innocent blind and teach a “certain” method of Wicca or Paganism and teach that “there is only ONE way of learning” or that you must be initiated to become a witch and these are the more savoury of the groups!
I will not be teaching anything like this… I believe it is important for people to follow their own paths to become empowered by their own inner spirituality. I also believe that with the aid of someone with genuine knowledge and experience they can find this path more easily. Be it shamanism, druidism, wicca, solitary, goddess orientated or just nature based faiths.
I am a down to earth Pagan, a mother, a druid, a priestess who works with the goddess and the god and all of nature and I am a holistic spiritual practitioner. I don’t pigeon hole people into categories, I believe that we all have within ourselves the ability to become more spiritually aware.
